Just a quick poll, so I can get an idea where we stand with this. Does everyone use this still, or was it another experiment gone awry?

I still use it. Never seems to be anyone else on, though.

To be honest, wasn't aware we had one! I'll start using it.

I use it 3-4 times a week.

If it's an expense, don't keep it. It's pretty easy to host your own. Easy to manage. Very low bandwidth.

Considering I just sort of came back, I haven't used it. But that wasn't because I didn't want to. It was because it's like pulling teeth to get information out of certain people *coughvaencough* I'd love to use it to try to get back into the swing of things considering I have little idea where the hot spots are anymore. However, I'll agree with Vaen that it is easy to set up a free one with little bandwidth. I remember doing it before myself for personal/guild use years ago and it doesn't seem like it's changed that much since. Smile

So.. to make this short.. I'll use one, but I'd prefer to not see people shell out unnecessary money.

I use it, but my hours are often very late at night... I am with Vaen, if it is costing money, unless there is a way that we as the community could help pay for it (but suspect that would be a headache) ...

Its really extremely easy to host and very low bandwidth. You are basically paying for a line in a text file next to the server program, and it makes a different instance for your password. Meh. Save the cash.

I agree, if it is any extra expense dump it. I use it when I remeber to load up UOAM.

I use it when I need to find someone... or when I remember it is there. I can go either way... if it is costing too much, drop it, cause single guilds can set it up if they want/need it, but if it isn't costing anything, I say keep it cause it does come in handy during rescue missions Very Happy
