In a small, iscolated village lives an elf by the name of Veryo Soron.

For weeks, Veryo's small hamlet has been tormented by a great wyvern who swoops down from the mountains and feeds off of the innocent citizens. The wyvern never used to be this vicious. Sure, it would attack if provoked, but never out of pure bloodlust. This wyvern was special to the people. It was..different.

In recent months, something has gone terribly wrong.

As a novice ranger, Veryo Soron is only able to repel the wyvern's brutal attacks. He has yet to kill it. Veryo believes the wyvern can be saved. He believes there is something behind the wyvern's thoughtless rampage through the village. Perhaps it is a master puppeteer, orchestrating the chaos?

Who can say?

Veryo is about to start on a long journey towards the land of Malas, home to a kingdom of fellow elves, to see what can be done about this recent turn of events.

Perhaps with the help of Asur'Herenion, the mystery can finally be solved...
