Sitting in the swill, before tonight's meeting, Thomas pulls out his journal to make a daily entry.

Journal Entry - Truth

1. Don't pet someone else's dog. They bite.

2. Nobility does not make one a better person, but being a better person gives one nobility.

3. Confronting a hypocrite with the truth is like trapping a coyote in a trap. It will chew off it's own leg rather than succumb to being caught.

Thomas puts his books away, and scratches at his bandaged hand.
