I can not find any information on the names of the seas or oceans of Sosaria. If anyone knows if our oceans and seas have names please post them in this thread otherwise we should make some up.

Well Ambrosia is Ambrosia, I am pretty sure he meant sosaria. In which case I'm uncertain. In Ultima six they do have a name for the center body of water that contains Moonglow, Magincia, Buc's den, Occlo, etc. It's simply called
"The Great Sea"

It pretty much says everything he'd want to say though no?

On an aside...I believe Sid is right with the names.

The Great Sea is the only named sea we have, can that name be confirmed?

We should split the water into segments and start dishing out some names

AFAIK, the sea in ultima is named "The Sea." >.>

There are however two bodies of water that I've found:

Lock Lake (2 sources)
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Britannia_%28Ultima%29
http://www.thealmightyguru.com/Reviews/Ultima/Ultima-Encyclopedia.html

Lost Lake (1 source)
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Britannia_%28Ultima%29

If you want to decode all the maps:

I claimed the water around Hawaii about a year ago. So you're a bit late on that.
