They have had a presence there, running patrols. The Militia has had more than a few encounters with those patrols, before we were forced to hold the Minoc Defenses.
We still have our scouts checking there Defenses, looking for a whole to counter attack. It's just a matter of time.
Contact me in-game Roger, for details on that. I try to keep majority of what I do in-game. I don't have any issues. I'm sure Taro would give us some slack, if a night came up with only one person on the Minoc Walls. I'll gladly be that one person...throwing rocks at them, just to keep the 'seige' representation up. |

Also, Roger, just because you don't see anyone there, doesn't mean they aren't. I have been sending spies to Minoc and vesper nightly. They are a group of my finest shadow walkers, of course. Just reconning.
You are being watched. |

I think the Milita found out last night that they aren't the only ones employing shadow walkers Battles are announced per the ROE Roger, but patrols and skirmishes happen when they happen. _________________ Ken: I don't put anything in my mouth I don't intend on swallowing...

You can expect attacks on the Minoc Walls between 7-11 est. You can also attempt to fight around Vesper. The whole area is a war zone, with Minoc being the Militia's main defensive line. Brave the woods if you dare!

It bothers me therefore that Tarothin Armunn would consider Minoc taken if the Dark Order ever finds no defenders at the barricade during "peak hours."
It is only fair that any attempt to breach the barricade be announced ahead of time to make it an actual role played event.
What if the defenders found no Dark Order beseiging them during peak hours? Would Tarothin agree that meant the seige was broken and the Dark Order sent packing? I do not think so, but it makes more realistic sense.
I've ridden through Dark Vesper at all hours. Morning, early afternoon, late afternoon, early evening, and late evening. Every day I've been there and yet the Dark Order claims they have occupied the city?
I'm relieved Tarothin qualified his statement by saying if they find the barricades undefended "during peak hours". By the same token, Vesper should be defended during "peak hours" but I have not seen them. |
Not sure what shard your on then because I know each time I'm on and even before hand through icq's to guildies, that they do random patrols in the area. I personnally do so....like mave said, your good fortune that you miss us.
Plus...didnt we kill you last night?
But anyways, I will definitly give some slack.
The main reason why I announced the siege and peak hours is because of the many guilds that were not seen prior to the battle.
I want to make sure if people are going to participate, that they ARE going to participate besides just announced battles.
So far I have not seen anyone on the enemy side in Vesper, but I have seen people in Minoc. |

On a side note, why does no one aim for the island city-states any more? Where is the Jhelom love? Nul'jelm, Serpants Hold, Buccs Den (Tram side, as dealing with looters in Fel would be a pain)... if H-H is back, perhaps Magencia can find some fun again.
[Dark] Cove IS a port city. Minor one, but one nevertheless! If things go well in Minoc (or stall up) consider the warm climate of Nul'jelm! Well, sandy climate anyway. Not sure how warm it can be so close to Dagger Isle. But in any case, as every person knows, even Dark Order knights need a chance to kick back and torture innocence as the waves roll onto the sandbar.
I must admit Taro, I DO like how your first targets are places that have a good proximity to Dark Cove. Whilst you could have tried for Trinsic or Skara Brae first, you showed good and proper restraint.
You would disgust any orc who saw your use of "strategic resource mangement". _________________ Femmies?! HOWAH!

dont worry Grig, those will be next once I have the upper corner of fel.
After all making an Empire.
Each city will be assigned a lord of the dark order to "control it".
And those are granted to ranking officers or peopel that prove themselves worthy as a reward. So as also to keep up activity in each area for they will be responsible for it.
This is only the beginning of the Invasion campaign. Those that swear fealty to serve under our banner will be spared.

I'm debating lowering my anat to 100 and raising my necromancy to 50 so i can painstrike and bloodoath. It's currently at 30. I just have my weapons doing the damage. |
