On Wednesday November 21st at 10:00PM EST, the boards and site will be moving to a brand new super fast server. This will eliminate the majority of problems we have been having with the server in regards to slowness, response time, and crashing.

Expect a downtime of 1-4 hours.

I'll provide an FAQ here quickly as to some problems that can arise, and how to fix them for those who need to access the site and the boards as quickly as possible...

If the boards do not load after 4 hours, you can try the following:

Clear Your Cache

After a move, you may need to clear your cache to view the site, to do this, do the following:

In Firefox:

Click "Tools" then "Clear Private Data"

In Internet Explorer:

Click "Tools" then "Internet Options" then "Delete" under the Browsing History subsection.

If this doesn't work, download CCleaner from http://www.ccleaner.com/download/builds , install it, and run it.

Flushing DNS Cache

To flush DNS cache in Microsoft Windows (Win XP, Win ME, Win 2000, Win 98 )-

- Start -> Run -> type cmd
- In command prompt, type ipconfig /flushdns

Sometimes it will take awhile for the webpage to update to the new address, this can possibly be fixed by doing the above if the error is local, however you may need to wait a day for your ISP to recognize the new address.

Due to some unexpected technical problems, the server move may not happen tonight, instead it will happen on Wednesday.

There was a crash earlier when they were having server issues, if there are any corruption problems or any forum errors, report them here and I'll check them out.
