Yes, including the re-prepping of special moves |
If there should be better for the balance of the game, i would have asked them to get rid of artifacts and any other gear that is worth over 10 mil.. they are what makes the game unbalanced.

You guys should be like me and not really learn how to PvP and then all these changes wouldn't seem so bad. It'd be like, "Oh wow cool so there's actually a list of rules!" Not learning game mechanics ftw. _________________ Darrien_Church: he asked what was the church of england based on

Welcome to the MMO gaming industry. You attract people to your game with promises of fame, fortune, and shiney artifacts. You keep them in the game because they can insure and/or bless those artifacts. And then you laugh as they complain about parts of your game, as they still shell you the $13/month. _________________

Tactics provides 150% DI at gm. It really makes perfect sense to tie tactics into the special move requirement. Weaponskill is the use of the weapon, how to handle it etc. Tactics would be how to recognize and perform different combat moves and strategies. Anatomy would provide knowledge of your opponent etc. Where to strike for the most damage. Really, all three of the skills tie together and should benefit the combat char and special moves. Maybe lower the required skill level for tactics?
The changes look decent overall. Will have to test the mana regen changes on mages and dexxers. Pet control changes arent an issue for the real tamers who build thier required skills up.
Evasion has many peeps in an uproar. Not sure how the evasion change will affect me yet. Dont use it much since i dont have bushido and parry built up and dont have real high DCI.
The changes are on test so there is still time to test and post feedback.
The best PvP balance they can do is to resort to pre-aos days. This would be the best for pvm and the game over all also. |

Eh
Some of the changes are positive, some of them are not. I still believe they've done some stupid things. _________________ "You see I can not be forsaken, because I'm not the only one. We walk amongst you, beating, r#ping, must we hide from everyone?" - Jon Davis |

I think it looks solid. Avature, prepare to take the pwn again now that you can't nerve strike me as you cast necro spells. _________________ Through all else, let Honesty lead you! |

Actually, yes. The gimp do stay gimp. It seems as though gimped out templates are the only ones not being affected here. Kind of a shame. _________________

Toren, you keep saying that the gimp temps are staying the same. Explain?
Bush/mage - scrap. Can't nerve strike for rubbish anymore, and it's gonna be a pain to use specs/spells at the same time.
Bush/necro/chugger - scrap..pots dont do as much, and nerve strike still isn't worth it anymore.
Ninja - Junk.
Tamers with ninja/archery etc.. - scrap...need high taming/lore instead of just taming...DS useless for archers. |

Nerve Strike isn't getting hurt THAT bad. Deathstrike is taking the blunt. And my gimpest character is a nox/mage with ninja, since I hardly ever use the ninjitsu for anything other than mirror image, I'm bringing it down to 50 and making room for gm poison instead of 90 and putting the rest in focus. So if you finagle the gimpness right, you get to stay... gimp as it were. _________________

The big templates now will be necro/mages and necro/weavers for spawns.
A good solo template would probably be some mix of poisoning and a weapon skill paired with magery, lethal poison and the offensive capability of mage spells will be a great template to run, especially since you don't need tactics to use infectious strike. _________________ "There are those who dream to escape reality, and there are those who dream to change it." |
