Tinkerbelle busily went about her business of checking her stock and resupplying her vendors. Some men in dark robes showed up and started looking around at the goods in the store. Tinkerbelle sweetly asked them, "Can I help you?" One of the men looked up and said, "Greetings." She said, "Is there something you are looking for?" and he responded, "We are just browsing around. He tilted his head oddly. She turned back around and continued to resupply her vendor while saying, "OK, let me know if I can be of any help."

The man hesitantly remarked, "Well... we have something near the gate... that may interest you..." Tinkerbelle replied, "What's that?"
He answered, "A rare form of tree, it may be a fortune.. something that could easily bless any home..." His companion irritatingly queried, "You still talking about that holy tree?" He replied sharply, "Of course I am," shaking his head. Tinkerbelle looked at the two of them quizically and asked, "Sounds interesting. Where did you say it is?" It is near the gate...We have someone guarding it.? She asked, "The front gate of the city?" He nodded and said, "That is Correct." As she put the last items on her vendor she replied, "Maybe I'll go check it out. Thanks for the info." He nodded slowly, but continued to look around at the goods.

Tinkerbelle's curiousity got the best of her and she asked him, "Is it difficult to find, do you need to show me?" He nodded to her and gestured for her to follow him. She followed as he led the way through the front gate and toward the portal. Then they all just stopped and appeared to be looking around. She said to him, "So, where is it?"

Suddenly he said harshly, "Now! Grab her!" She squeeled, "What?!" They all moved around her, one of them grabbing her arm. Another kicked her horse causing her to fall from it. She screamed, "What's happening, HELP, HELP!"

The man yelled at her to be quiet and back handed your across the mouth and the other man grabed her and covered her mouth. Feeling faint, she passed out for a short time. (Being a pixie, she also went invisible.)

One of the men yelled, "Quiet you fool!" They looked around and they could not see her and started kicking the air. One of the men said, "You hit her too hard brother!" Another said, "She tricked us." She finally came back around and started mumbling, "What's going on?" and was immediately backhanded again hard in the face. She cried out, "What are you doing to me?" One of them yelled back at her, "Silence!" and then turned to the others and said, "Hold her now, while I make a gate. We need your services. That is all you need to now."

One of the men held her tight as she squirmed hopelessly. They pulled her through the gate and dragged her to a cell and slammed the door. She fell to the floor sobbing uncontrollably. Through her tears she cried, "What are you doing?" One of the men snarled at her, "Stop your crying you fool." Several more men gathered outside the cage. One said, "She doesn't look very virginy." Still sobbing, Tinkerbelle blusters out, "I've done nothing to you." The man replied back to her with a grin, "but you will do something for us." More mockery could be heard from the other men and she tried to ignor them.

A woman appeared who seemed to be of some importance. She said, "This is Tinkerbelle?" The man replied, "The - guest - has arrived Milady." She nodded. Tinkerbelle stood up and sobbing loudly, "I've done nothing to you. You have no right to keep me like this!" The woman responded, "Oh, I know you've done nothing. But we need your ... services." Tinkerbelle whimpered, "What services? I'm just a humble crafter?" The woman asked, "You are a virgin are you not?" Tinkerbelle retorted, "Yes, what does that have to do with anything?"

A slow smile formed on the woman's face. She coyly stated, "My father has .. need ... of a virgin." The others around her laughed wickly. She then said, "You will be treated well until such time that you will die gloriously giving your soul for his. Tinkerbelle screamed, "NO!" One of the men sternly snapped, "Don't say no to the dark lady." The woman then ordered her men, "See that she is comfortable and well fed. Treat her well. She is to be honored for what she will be doing."

Tinkerbelle crouched down in a corner. The men continued to make lude and discusting remarks. The woman finally turned to Tinkerbelle and asked her, "Who.. are ... you exactly?" Tinkerbelle responded meakly, "What do you mean?" The woman said, "Are you royalty?" Tinkerbelle answered proudly, "I'm Baroness of Virgincia." The woman said, "Hmm, I see. Lightbringers?" Tinkerbelle answered as she watch a man pacing the floor in front of her cell, "Yes, we follow the Virtues." Then he cleared his throat as if he were going to speak, laughed softly and stared, then he said, "Then I pray to the virtues it succeeds," laughing madly, "Hah hah hah hah haaaah!"

Tinkerbelle brought her knees to her chest and wrapped her arms around them. He whole body was shivering as tears rolled down her face. She could feel the bruise on her cheek, as it had swollen her eye partially shut. The woman suddendly stated, "I have duties to attend. I will see you all later." The others continued to mock Tinkerbelle for a while, then they offered her a mat to sleep on and some food. As she sat in her corner eating, they came and got the other woman who was quietly sitting on the other side of the cell. She said to the men, "Where are you taking her?" All she heard was, "Say good bye to her" as they all disappeared from view. She could hear a commotion going on above her, but couldn't make anything out. Exhausted, she laid down on the mat and fell into a restless sleep.

Imryrr sat on the throne. Alone in the guild hall of the Dark Order. Fingertips from each hand touching and her head lowered in thought. To a stranger, it might seem as though she were praying. If she chose a god, then perhaps she would be just then. Either praying that the ritual tonight would succeed or would fail, one could only guess.

She had seen to their newest prisoner. Her mother's friend, Tinkerbelle. Earlier she had granted Ditto's request. That her friend would not be chosen tonight. Instead they would try first the daughter of a citizen who could not pay his taxes.

At first, her humoring of her mother's need to perform a ceremony that would try to bring the Dark Knight back to them had not been viewed seriously by her, but as the time came closer.....Imryrr was not so sure it wouldn't succeed. Yes, Lord Mairsil had assured her that she was without a doubt the true leader of the Dark Order and he would remain by her side. But, there was still the nagging feeling of....What If?

She was indeed the keeper of the throne of Armunn and her rule was sure. She would see that it stayed that way. Even if this idiotic attempt at bringing a dead man back worked...she would let NO one interfere with her plans or her power.
Right now however, her honor was at stake. She would continue to aid her mother and the Dark Order in their endevor of attempting this ritual. And she would see to it that their house guests would be treated with a certain ammount of respect if only for the deed one or both would be losing their life for.
Imryrr remembered well the sobs from the Vestal Virgin. Tears of weakness. Pitiful and annoying.

The evening had been eventful but had not brought about the desired results. Tezrian thought back to the prisoner they now had in the Dark Keep . The sacrifice of this virgin must work. The first ceremony had not worked , probably because the sacrifice was not as pure as first thought.

Tezrian kept a watch over the female in the dungeon of the Keep. The men were like drooling animals and she needed to make sure this one stayed pure. The men were frenzied and Tezrian could feel the energy. Hers was the thrill of soon watching the virgin's blood successfully completing the ceremony they all had waited for. It would happen soon, the anticipation was keeping her awake.

She lay upon her bedroll , dagger at the ready. Frenzied , the men had turned on her and she had to resort to threats of dismemberment to keep them at bay. She smiled thinking of her dagger so close to the nether regions of Shadow Skull when he had cornered her. He had thought better and backed off.

When the darkness came again the ceremony would begin . Smiling with anticipation Tezrian arose once again to keep watch on the Virgin.

Hunger peirced his eyes as the woman tumbled to the ground, thoughts swirled about him. They were all so alike, all of them. Each one their own deceptive strength, and yet so weak, to tears. His teeth clenched at the sight, his fist flexing around the hilt of his dagger inside his robe sleeve. She was putrid, filthy, just like the rest of them, it was all he could do to hold himself back, and stare, and gawk. A strange desire coupled with such hatred. He wanted her... and he wanted to kill her.

His heart ached at the sight, and his feelings confounded. He began to pace, nearly out of control, just barely reigning himself in, for the good of his guise? Or for the good of the Order? He knew not, and he cared less. His guise was more like himself than it had ever been and yet it belied everything he was.

He began to mutter to himself for no appropriet reason, testing the theories, weighing the outcomes, fantasising about what was approaching. His heart panged and he stoped to speak, though not a word cleared his throat. He would wait, he would watch, and he would revel. He found an interesting home in Dark Cove, and they fed his hunger like none other. Finally he felt... Alive.

Aryanna stood looking into the cage at this, virgin person, this Tinkerbelle as they called her. Shadow was not far from her and she suddenly felt the pressure of a hand on her bottom and jumped a few feet in shock.
Swiftly and without thought all guises dropped, Aryanna was reigning down lightning bolts on him and he fled from the angry mage. Her hair swirling around her she seethed, and then realized this was a bit of an overeaction.

Dropping her hands the spell faded and she said softly, dont ever touch me again... Xyr'Kor rushed over at the commotion placing a friendly hand on Aryannas shoulders, but she couldnt help it it was so close to her back, the back that was adorned with massive scars, so she stiffened and told him she was fine.

The women in the cage, the virgins, were hungry and she feigned a look of pity. Someone ought to get these women some food. Quickly she conjured up an apple and held its delicious sweetness in her hand Like her lips the apple shined red like blood and she softly, gently pressed its juiciness into her mouth, the prisoners watching in torture.

The bite complete she tossed the apple to the floor with only one bite out of it. Laughing to herself as it rolled to the edge of the cage taunting them. Such a mean streak Aryanna, she chastised herself. Her eyes caught Shadow aprouaching and she heard orders being given. Back to her duties...

After returning to the keep with the virgin needed for the sacrifice I was called to the demon chamber for the first attempt at the summoning.

We, the brothers and sisters of the Dark Order, gathered around a sacrificial pentagram. There, on the pentragram, Shadowskull stood with his foot holding down a young maiden.

Lady Ditto took the lead and broke out chanting in some weird language. After a bit of chanting, she began slitting the maidens wrists and drenched her in blood. Then after more chanting, she plunged the red-tinted dagger into the womans chest. As the woman slumped lifeless onto the pentagram Ditto started calling forth for Tarothin. After a few minutes and nothing happening Ditto said the sacrifice was not pure enough and that we only had one more chance.

Lady Ditto retired for the eve leaving Tezrian and Shadowskull to clean up the mess.

*forward to later in the night*

*sighs*
The virtues were calling forth for me to stop the ritual. I wanted to but I didnt want to. The power, the lure of darkness was too great. Yet, one night from now we would sacrifice a beautiful pixie, a baroness at that.

Noble blood. I should not allow Noble blood to be spilled. Should I show compassion? The love for anothers being? Or should I show Dark compassion, the love to see her noble blood spill upon the pentagram to summon our Dark Knight.

*shakes his head*

The path of darkness is clear to me, yet the virtues get in the way. It is time I re-think these virtues, re-create them in my own ideals. The future holds.... Darkness.

It is time to prepare for the sacrifice.
