Arise noble Britannian’s, and heed virtues solemn cry!

A darkness of seemingly insurmountable influence has struck the very heart of our beliefs. The Shadowlord of Hatred, Astaroth, has defiled the embodiment of Love itself, snuffing its eminent flame. To not only strike, but to corrupt the Candle of Love ascends beyond mere material aggression. This is an attack on the very hearts and souls of our people.

Despite such abhorrence, this crime was not enough. As the masses stand outraged at this act of defilement, the Shadowlords have committed yet another atrocity. Unsatisfied with the corruption of the holiest of relics, Astaroth has struck deeper into the fabric of our faith. Once a gleaming embodiment of virtue, the Shrines of Justice, Compassion and Sacrifice have been tainted by his machinations and set upon by legions of benighted monsters, humanoids, and elementals.

To undo such travesty upon our lands shall require the aid of every able bodied man and woman of Britannia. As followers of virtue, we must stand as one to unravel the noxious vestments that drape our lands. We must set aside our hostilities and embrace Compassion. We must focus our eyes upon the darkness, and sear its influence from our lands, to bring Justice to those who have wronged us. We must shed a piece of ourselves, both of strength and of mind, a Sacrifice in service of all that we believe in.

So I ask of you, noble Britannian’s, to set aside your reservations, your fears, your uncertainties, and rise up against the greatest of enemies we as a people have faced. To cleanse the shrines, and purify the candle, such an onus lies not solely with the individual, but with the masses. Take charge of the destiny of your realm, light the Candle of Love, and let it burn away the darkness.
