Ok so...
On my first account a few weeks ago
I was easily raising ninjitsu using the jewlery trick being unguilded in tram on a boat, just stabbing a horse and use deathstrike.

It was slow, but it worked and was evident it worked.

On my second account I am trying to do the same thing for a new character
ninja is currently at 85.

I'm not guilded, im in tram on a boat with a horse, ive got all the mana and regen in the world, and im stabbing horsey with deathstrike using the jewlery trick..and not a single gain in two days, not even a ggs .1.

Even without the jewlery at 85..dont seem to be gaining off of focus attack.

Did they patch it? Am I doing something wrong? And no the skill ninjitsu is not locked.

Welcome to one of the most difficult skills to raise.

This is what I did:

Equipment:
40 LMC, Boomstick, MR2 pieces on every piece of armor aside from hat, gorget, and chest, which were MR3 and 4 for hat. Also, go into lich form for more mana regen. I think I ended up with 45 mana regen.

Now, from 85-92, I did Ki Strike, I think. Might have been Focus Strike. Whichever was harder. Once I hit 92, I unloaded deathstrikes like it was nobody's business with all that MR and LMC.

No jewelry needed, either.

what Vaen said.. was one of the hardest but once I did his trick I easily worked it to Legend without jewelry.
