Jousting is an Atlantic tradition. While it has been previously held in NuJelm, the Governer of Jhelom has graciously offered her city this time around.

Okay, so this isn't the first time this has been done, but as a reminder to vets and a warning to newcomers. The rules are as follows:

This will be bracketed, single elimination. I'll pull names from a bowl and set it up the week before.

Looking to fill a field of ten contestants. I'm not sure there are enough in the community to do this.. but it's the goal just the same. If by some miracle we get more interest, then I will expand it.

Tatiana has graciously volunteered to do lances and Mesa will be doing the outfitting. The rules for outfitting are as follows. Armor can only be done in iron or Dull Copper, and unimbued except for the Use Best Weapon Skill on the lances in advance. I will be dyeing the armor various colors in accordance to the entry, so please, sign up by PMing me or messaging me on my icq 483-626-468. Please identify yourself in case you aren't on my list. I don't add or talk to people I don't recognize. Let me know what your color choice will be. Surcoats and sashes will be included so make sure you have two color choices ready.

The equipment rules are to keep the playing field level and give everyone an equal shot. In addition, there is to be no jewelry, or arties of any kind.

There is to be No spellcasting. No Divine Fury, or Evasion etc. before a tilt. This is to be based on skill. Additionally, use a real horse (Ie: not an ethy) is a must.

Last but not least.. The prizes this time around.. are extensive. A flier will be posted shortly listing these IC.
