Here are the basic objectives of the event, for those who have shown interest in participating.

1) OES will have a little RP session/pow-wow in the unclaimed void island to start the event at 9 PM EST. Those getting involves should probably try to start collecting their forces no later than this.
2) After OES finishes its RP, a blue character by the name of "Izual" will begin to lead the caravan. I will use Atlantic RP chat to inform the community, first that we are "Preparing to Leave". Then, when the time comes, I will use the Atlantic RP chat and say: "Raid event begin". At that point, the caravan will begin to move out and opposing forces are free to engage as they see fit. Direct assault, hit and run, whatever. The duty of OES is to see the transport to arrive at CH. Everyone else is trying to destroy it.
3) The caravan will consist of various easy and not-so-easy-to-kill targets. Packies, golems, whatever. While the primary objective of the raiding force is just to obliterate the whole caravan (whether or not they kill all OES guards), there is a secondary objective. Hidden within the pack animals, under a few layers of junk, will be books containing notes about our rituals that ICly catalog upcoming OES operations against Sanctus and other empires. There are "X" number of books, with "X" being a number only I know. How complete or incomplete your knowledge of what OES is doing is relative to how many books you successfully get.

Those are pretty much the objectives. Any RP individuals or guilds want to work up on their own is up to them. The CR thread "Corrupted Gains", details the RP rationale we are working under. Associate yourselves as you please.

Now, the rules.

1) One life to Live. Once a character falls, (s)he is out for the rest of that battle.
2) The caravan will ALWAYS attempt to keep moving. As the blue I will tell animals and golems or whatever to follow me, continuously. If the attackers wish to stop the transport from moving, someone needs to run up to Izual (the blue) and emote something along the lines of "*grabs hold of him*". So long as the person who emoted that stays close to Izual, he will stand there and shout warnings of the attack. If the person grabbing him is ever engaged by defenders or gets run off, Izual will start moving again. The holder is free to attack the caravan while (s)he has a hold on Izual.
3) As per usual, there is NO looting or inspecting the packs of fallen characters. HOWEVER, if a pack animal falls it is FREELY lootable by anyone in the attacking force. While most of the stuff within will be junk, some will contain books detailing plans as mentioned above.
4) OESers will be prohibited from looting our own fallen pack animals. However, Izual will be able to. What this means is attempting to just run up and kill pack animals and then run off will be UNWISE. Izual will merely pause for a moment, walk over to the fallen creature, slowly sift through its body and then, if a book is present, collect it. Once Izual has it, the book is lost from play and cannot be claimed by the attackers. He will attempt to compete with other looters, but at a very lagged speed. So long as someone is actively looking in a fallen corpse, and they are not blind, they should be able to beat him to the book. As OESers will not be able to loot an attackers body, as per rule # 3, any books claimed by the attacking force, even if you fall in battle, are considered captured.

Those are the rules and objectives as the game stands. If there are edits or changes to these rules, they will be made here prior to the raid. For all those involved, enjoy! Let's see where this takes us.
